Even hotter today. 105. Had to share the shade under the only tree in the area.

Hot. Hot. Hot. 60 degrees in the morning and upper 90s all afternoon and evening. Had to take a quick dip in the Tennessee River to cool off.

Yeah you're not supposed to do it but just one last mod.  I'm going to be cutting across Kansas and Oklahoma and not on the interstate.  When the big trucks roll by on the gravel quite a bit can become airborne.  A little Home Depot gutter guard and some zip ties will provide some protection for the oil cooler.  I installed XPel film on the lens a few years ago so that should be fine.

Everything is packed and I'm ready to go in the morning.  I even did a test tip-over and pick-up in the front lawn.  

I've taken a couple of extra days off work to get ready for the big trip.  Got my last item from UPS and installed it on my saddle.  Mmmm fuzzy comfort from sickafus.com
